Previous research produced potencial lines, namely GH8, GH13, GH44, GH 46, GH51 with a soft rice texture. Black sticky rice has a fluffier texture with 1-2% amylose content. The purpose of this research was to study and detect the success of crossing black rice hope lines with black sticky rice and their reciprocals. The research was conducted at the Jumantono Laboratory from June to December 2021. The materials used were Control black rice, GH13, GH46, GH52, as female and black sticky rice as male and their reciprocals. The tools used are polybags, alluvial soil, scissors, tweezers, clips, petridishes, cameras. The method used a randomized block design with a single treatment design of crosses with 3 parents of hopeful lines and black sticky rice with a total of 9 sets of crosses, repeated 4 times so that there were 36 trials. The result are the success of crosses F1 (?)Potencial Lines x (?)Black sticky rice ranged from 7-23% and the success of reciprocal crosses ranged from 10-14%. It is necessary to evaluate the cross (?)GH13 x (?)Black sticky rice and its reciprocity to determine the maximum cross between the two.
