ABSTRACT Sales promotion is one of the elements of the promotional mix that effect in helping the development of a company's sales volume. For that in writing this final task I took the title 'Free Pulse as Media Sales Promotion in Improving Sales Volume of Matrix Auto Card in PT. INDOSAT Solo Branch '. The goal of this research is to know the implementation of sales promotion in an effort to improve the company's sales volume. Techniques used in this research is descriptive, namely to provide a picture or description systematically examined the objects, then processing data for a number to get the conclusions about business activities that run by the company. The data used are secondary data, which is the supporting data obtained from company archives. Results of research shows that using free pulse as the media of sales promotion, PT. INDOSAT Solo branch increasing number of Matrix Auto card applications that pass welcome the call about 127.37%, while applications for the Matrix Auto card which have active status increased by 29.41%. However, if viewed from the revenue, thus decrease of 69.98%. Conclusion of this research is free pulse as a media of sales promotion that is applied by PT. INDOSAT Solo branch is still less efficient and effective in the effort to improve the company's sales volume. This is because the cost of a sales promotion is big enough so it reduces the amount of company’s revenue. Suggestions can be given, the company should re-examine the existing promotion program in an effort to improve the company's sales volume and to be more selective in choosing the media of promotion to get the optimum result. *Keyword : Sales Promotion
