This final report was written based on Student Internship activities at the Library Service Center DPAD DIY which occurred for eight weeks, starting from February 21, 2022, to April 15, 2022. The purpose of this final report is to describe the activities during the internship, the problems encountering during the internship, and the efforts to solve them. The main activity of my Student Internship Program (KMM) is translating two Dutch colonial era books that are in the Rare Collection Room of the DIY Library Service Center. That two books were published during the Dutch colonial period in Indonesia, the first book was published in 1936 and the second in 1929. During translating those books, the writer faced many problems, such as a shift in the meaning of words over time and difficulties in finding the meaning of a word or sentence. The writer also encountered problems outside the translation process such as the limited time allocation because the writer also participated in several programs in the library like library tour, library visit, and front desk service. The writer put many efforts in translating the books, for example reading several relevant journals, doing deep research, and many more to produce high quality translation.
