This internship report was written based on the internship activity program at Museum Batik Danar Hadi, which started on March 2nd, 2022 to April 30th, 2022. The objective of this final report are (1)to preserve the art and culture of batik in Indonesia, (2) to learn and get new things or experiences that I have not got yet on campus, and (3) to gain new experience in the world of translation, especially at museum field. The activities described consisted of two activities namely main activity and additional activities. The main activity was translating a book entitled “ICOM Code of Ethics for Museums”. Additional activities were guiding and writing tests, and rewriting a book entitled “Batik Pengaruh Zaman dan Lingkungan”. I used Nida and Taber's (1969:33) theory for the translation process. There are three stages to translating the texts, they are analyzing, transferring, and restructuring. I faced some problems such as museum terms and long sentences. To overcome those problems, I used some strategies such as addition, established equivalent, reduction, and more.
