The purpose of this internship report is to explain my online internship program at BPSMP Sangiran (the Conservation Office of Sangiran Early Human Site) which was conducted on January 19th 2021 – March 21st 2021. In this internship agenda, I translated two guidebooks and wrote twelve bilingual (Indonesian and English) short articles as the secondary activity.
I translated “Buku Pengetahuan Situs Patiayam: Merangkai Kekayaan Situs Patiayam” and “Buku Pengetahuan Situs Semedo” using Nida and Taber’s theory: analyzing, transferring, and restructuring. I also used Molina and Albir’s theory of translation techniques: amplification, pure borrowing, literal translation, discursive creative, established equivalent, adaptation, linguistic compression and modulation.
Then, I wrote twelve short articles related to BPSMP Sangiran and cultural heritage. In detailed process of writing short articles, I searched for some related information on the Internet, wrote the articles, translated, and edited them
