Thesis, Surakarta: Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta, Mei 2026            This study aims to describe the form and meaning of Ethnolinguistic study in the Anthroponymy of the names of the people of Bero Village, Trucuk District, Klaten Regency, and determine its relevance to the Javanese language teaching material (pacelathon) in junior high schools that have been written in the independent curriculum phase D listening element with the learning outcomes of students being able to understand information in the form of ideas, thoughts, views, directions. The research method used is Descriptive Qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research data are in the form of the names of the people of Bero Village which are then analyzed based on language structure and meaning. The data sources used in this study are the Bero Village community, Bero Village Subdistrict, Javanese Language subject teachers, students of SMPN 24 Surakarta and other data are name documents, journals, books, scientific articles related to the study. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and document analysis. The validity testing technique in this study uses data source triangulation and technical method triangulation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, presenting data, making conclusions. The results of this study are 1) The meaning of the names of the Bero Village community, Trucuk District, Klaten Regency based on language structure and meaning,  2)Ethnolinguistic study based on the meaning of the names studied in this study;  3)The results of the study are related to Javanese language learning on student learning outcomes being able to understand ideas, thoughts about listening to Pacelathon in grade VII of SMP Phase D.
