This report was written based on the internship activity for two months at Museum Keris Nusantara. The internship was held from February 7th until April 2nd, 2023. The purpose of this internship activity report is to fulfil my study responsibility from an English Diploma Program. Besides, I implemented the knowledge and competence I got in lectures for five semesters about translating and editing. This report describes my main activities, such as translating kris and spears captions and making educational videos with intralingual subtitles. Meanwhile, my additional activities are making a storyline for the exhibition’s magazine, registering and taking care of kris, escorting and documenting visits on social media, and getting a chance for becoming a guide at the Museum Radya Pustaka exhibition. During the translation process, I used some tools to assist me in completing my tasks. I also faced some problems in translating, such as difficult cultural terminologies and wrong structure in source text. The solution I did was to ask for an explanation from the staff and self-analyse by looking for the meaning in KBBI, Cambridge dictionary, online literacies, and books provided at the museum’s library. When translating, I used Nida and Taber’s translation process and Molina and Albir’s translation techniques to solve the problems and meet accuracy, readability, and acceptability in the source text. From this internship activity, I can implement my skills and introduce me to the world of work.
