Willingness to communicate, in the context of online learning, is a trending issue that explores students' desire to actively engage in English-language Web-based communication and learning. In addition, e-learning has lately become widely used in Indonesia due to the global spread of the Corona Virus (COVID-19 current). This research focuses on students' interpersonal motivation that occurs in the speaking class synchronous activity what will come out and what effect will it have on students. The narrative research approach is used in this study to communicate the findings via stories. Based on the result of this research, it is found that interpersonal motivation has appeared in all of the element of speaking skill. Also, interpersonal motivation has shown some positive impact related to willingness to communicate in synchronous activities during English speaking class. This study suggests that interpersonal motivation affected student willingness to communicate. Because attending academic speaking programs might boost students' willingness to communicate. Because not only does attending speaking lessons promote students' motivation to communicate, but it also improves students' speaking abilities. However, this is also dependent on the pupils' ambition, whether they want to learn more and develop their talents.
