× <p>The present study aimed to analyze the cultural content which consisted of (1) the elements of culture (Yuen, 2011) that are represented in the ELT textbook of “Bahasa Inggris: Work in Progress”, (2) the types of culture (Cortazzi & Jin, 1999) that are represented in the ELT textbook of “Bahasa Inggris: Work in Progress”, and (3) the English teachers’ attitudes (Eagly and Chaiken, 1993) toward the representation of culture in the textbook “Bahasa Inggris: Work in Progress”.<br>Using a qualitative content analysis research design, the present study analyzed the cultural contents that were represented with visual images integrated with text (e.g., picture with monologue, dialogue, and description) in the learning task of the newest ELT national textbook which was published by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Indonesia, in 2022 for tenth-grade secondary-level students “Bahasa Inggris: Work in Progress” and the teachers’ attitudes. The data were collected by document analysis and interview. Moreover, the process of analyzing the data was based on the procedure of an interactive model by Miles et al., (2014).<br>The results revealed that (1) the element of cultures consisted of a) Products (42.2%), b) Practices (23.3%), c) Perspectives (13.8%), and d) Persons (20.7%). The distribution of cultural elements in the ELT textbook was imbalanced and the elements of products were the most dominant. Then, (2) The types of cultures consisted of a) Target (53.4%), b) Source (13.8%), c) International (14.6%), and d) Neutral (18.2%) The target cultures were the most dominant in the ELT textbook which contained the cultures from England and America. Then (3) the English teachers&#39; attitudes indicated positive feelings, reactions, and beliefs related to the cultural existence in the ELT textbook. Nevertheless, teachers paid attention to the distribution of the cultural representation in the textbook that it should be varied, distributed well, and not too dominant in one aspect of culture. This is important because learners need a variety of cultural learning materials to get a more portraying representation and not only focus on one of the types of culture.<br>Further studies are highly recommended to explore more about the cultural content in the different textbooks using others’ theoretical framework, add the students’ voices, or add the broader participants of the book users to make the research deeper and get a new insight for a better result.</p>
