Sebelas Maret University.</p><p>The final project report entitled “Dalam Peluk Kesembuhan" aims to provide an overview of the scriptwriter's role in each process of making a documentary video. This documentary film focuses on mental health phenomena among nurses for people with mental disorders (ODGJ). Mental health disorders are complex illnesses that affect a person's physical and mental condition. These issues and phenomena are packaged in the form of documentary videos because according to the author, documentary videos are the most effective means of conveying a fact from a phenomenon that is rarely highlighted by the public, including facts from the profession that treats ODGJ patients, which are full of challenges and pressures. In making the script for the documentary video entitled “Dalam Peluk Kesembuhan", the writer realizes that it is very important for the writer to know in depth about mental health issues or phenomena, the conditions of ODGJ patients, and understand the context of the care provided by nurses. The script writer must be able to communicate real messages by adjusting the needs of the topic to be conveyed. As a scriptwriter, it is necessary to have the ability to increase understanding and develop the information that has been collected into an interesting story and evoke the feelings of the audience. The script writer must also provide accurate, actual, and crucial information. In addition, the scriptwriter has a function as a liaison between information about the complex nursing profession and the audience, with the aim of increasing awareness, providing understanding, and increasing nurse support for ODGJ patients.<br> </p>
