Supervisor (1) Prof. Dr. Sugiyanto; (2) Dr. Hanik Liskustyawati, M.Kes.Thesis, Sports Science Study Program, Faculty of Sports, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta.</p><p><br>                                                                                                  ABSTRACT<br>This study aims to determine ; 1) know the historical aspects of the development of the Mahameru Taekwondo Club in Sukoharjo; 2) know the organizational development system for the Mahameru Taekwondo Club in Sukoharjo; 3) identify the management resources of the Mahameru Taekwondo Club in Sukoharjo; and 4) identifying the development of athletes&#39; achievements in the Mahameru Taekwondo Club in Sukoharjo.<br>This type of research is qualitative research with a basic interpretative studies approach. The technique for taking informants used a snowball sampling technique with a total of 5 informants consisting of 1 founder and trainer of Mahameru Taekwondo, namely Master Singgih Hendarto, 2 trainers and administrators, namely Sabum Agus Hadi Wibowo and Sabum Agus Riyanto TS, and 2 athletes, namely Fadli and Yovita. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using recognition and organization, coding and reduction, and interpretative and representative.<br>The results of research on organizational development and achievement development which includes the history of development, coaching system, management resources and coaching of Taekwondo Club Mahameru athletes in Sukoharjo Regency are as follows: 1) Taekwondo Club Mahameru was founded in 1989 for the first time in the PKP Ngabeyan Kartasura sports building. It is unique that there are 25 dojangs in one district with 1 club name that is the same, differentiated by the name of each region in Sukoharjo Regency. There is Dojang Central Kartasura (DCK), Dojang Central Sukoharjo (DCS) and Dojang Central Senia The Park as a territorial collection such as northern Sukoharjo in Dojang Central Kartasura (DCK), southern Sukoharjo in Dojang Central Sukoharjo (DCS), and the territorial center is in the central Niaga the Park with one management. The motivation stands to maximize human resource development and develop taekwondo as a place for martial arts, achievement and recreation in Sukoharjo Regency. 2) The vision and mission flows over time because of the commitment and togetherness between administrators and coaches. The implementation of coaching must be flexible according to the culture of the community in which it lives. The Mahameru Taekwondo coaching system has a solid and unified management structure from the internal management in maximizing human resource development in Sukoharjo Regency. 3) Management resources include human resources, financial resources, cooperation, infrastructure and systems (methods) at the Mahameru Taekwondo Club. In recruiting and massing human resources consist of founders, administrators, coaches and athletes. The founders of the Mahameru Taekwondo Club are 4 founders with 1 promoter with a total of management in accordance with the applicable decree. There are 27 Mahameru Taekwondo Club Taekwondo coaches with 10 coaches with a sports education background and 2 coaches with a Masters education background. Apart from that, there are 1809 Mahameru club taekwondo athletes. The marketing strategy includes several programs to increase interest in addition to strategic locations and attractive facilities, namely; a) the sibling program gets a monthly contribution reduction; b) For participants or members who provide references to outsiders to register, they will be given a 1x discount on free monthly fees. The actions of training, evaluating and managing, namely: a) administrators present during training and matches, b) rules for carrying out training, and c) coaches in training. Becoming a trainer is a choice for all participants who enter Mahameru Taekwondo and want to be able to become trainers, athletes, referees, examiners or as a profession. The source of funding for the Mahameru Taekwondo Club from the start was taken from the level promotion exam (UKT) and KONI. In terms of percentage, the budget is not only taken from cash but is taken from all payment elements. The Mahameru Taekwondo Club collaboration can be concluded that the collaboration process is already underway with all schools in Surakarta, KONI, DISPORA and especially with external sponsorship in supporting each agenda. Mahameru Taekwondo Club provides infrastructure from the center which is given to the dojang/training place in the form of a mattress, namely: 1 when setting up the dojang, 1 when you get an achievement reward, but another 1 is given when the dojang is well managed. All infrastructure facilities are no different, only for athletes there is a training center. The system &#40;method&#41; has been running using technology so that the Mahameru Club Taekwondo member participant database is systematized throughout the country. 4) Achievement development at the production and nursery stages. It can be seen that the number of potential athletes from talent scouting has 190 athlete achievements from national and international levels. What is unique about this talent scouting is that Mahameru Taekwondo trainers have the most number of successors in the sports field with 10 expert trainers. Coaching uses one means or facilities together, such as the training camp at the Central Dojang, which becomes the central territory between the Sukoharjo Central Dojang and the Kartasura Central Dojang.<br>Based on these results, the organizational development and coaching of Mahameru Club Taekwondo athletes has developed in terms of history, coaching system, management resources and athlete coaching. 1) This aspect can be seen developing through the uniqueness of the history of taekwondo in Sukoharjo Regency. 2) The Mahameru Taekwondo Club&#39;s coaching system explains the training program and coaching process that has been running until now. Management resources in terms of human resources, financial resources, cooperation, infrastructure and methods (systems). 4) Synergized to experience the development of athletes&#39; achievements based on programmed coaching.</p>
