× <p>The Covid 19 pandemic has had a major impact on changes in the health, social and economic conditions of people in Indonesia. These changes require the government to make adjustments in all areas. Implementation of the Budget Refocusing policy became one of the strategies in coping with the crisis due to the impact of Covid 19. This study examined the factors that influence budget refocusing policies in Indonesia. The type of research used is quantitative research. The data used in this study were numbers with ratio scales and analyzed in statistical form. The research design used is a hypothesis testing study. The study population is a regional government across Indonesia. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with the amount of data obtained being 195 samples. The research data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis and using an additional test with a control variable in the form of Capital Expenditure. The results showed that Covid 19 Case Surge Number Variables, Unemployment Rate and Capital Expenditure Control Variables had a significant positive effect on Budget Refocusing policy. The Economic Problem Variable had a significant negative effect on Budget Refocusing, while the Public Attention Variable proved to have no significant effect on Budget Refocusing. This study has implications for the addition of literature related to Refocusing Local Government Budgets as a Covid 19 management measure from the perspective of Agenda Setting Theory, as well as providing input in the form of policies related to handling Covid 19 in local government that have an impact on health, social and economic aspects.</p><p> </p>
