ABSTRACT Target of this research is to describe: (1) make up of study process correct reading the story of student of class of VI Elementary School 2 Kragilan Mojosongo with the audio media; (2) make up of study result correct reading the story of student of Class of VI Elementary School Country 2 Kragilan Mojosongo with the audio media. Form this research is classroom action research. Subject in this reseach is student of class of VI Elementary School Country 2 Kragilan Mojosongo amounting to 20 student. Source of data used, that is (1) place and event, (2) document. Data collecting technique applied, that is: (1) observation / perception; (2) result tes, and (3) technique nontes which is in the form of enquette. Pursuant to research result can be told that audio media can improve the ability correct reading the story of student of class of VI Elementary School Country 2 Kragilan Mojosongo. The mentioned the following reflection, (1) study process correct reading the story experience of the improvement; (2) study result correct reading the story experience of the improvement. At cycle I, average value of student of equal to 6,92 and 15 students from 20 students have succeeded to reach the complete standard learn. While at cycle II, value of student of equal to 7,6 and counted 17 students from 20 students have been expressed to succeed to reach the complete standard learn. Rrom overall of done cyclr, inferential that teacher have been able to improve the student ability to tell a story. Specially at student of class of VI Elementary School Country 2 Kragilan Mojosongo of school year 2009/2010.
