Charging and discharging experiments in the RC circuit, integral to physics learning, focus on exploring transient responses in DC-excited RC circuits. This study aims to enhance data acquisition efficiency by automating voltage and current recording, addressing the challenge of precise data collection within predefined intervals. The research involves design, empirical data collection, validation, and calibration, assessing precision and accuracy rigorously. Precision is evident through a negligible standard error (ΔX), indicating uniformity and exceptional precision across data points. Calibration includes meticulous linear regression analysis, resulting in equations for the voltage sensor (y=0.9785x - 0.2171) and the ACS712 current sensor (y=0.806x+0.635), with a high coefficient of determination (R2=0.999) confirming the model's robustness. Lab equipment calibration achieved a 99.66% improvement for the voltage sensor and 97.65% for the ACS712 current sensor. Field tests reveal the developed practicum tool's higher accuracy in theoretical calculations than conventional methods. Validated by experts and high school physics teachers, the practicum tool and guidebook received positive feedback, scoring high in clarity, visual presentation, and ease of use. With an average score of 90.62%, the practicum tool and guidebook prove suitable for high school physics learning activities, viewed as an excellent alternative to traditional laboratory work. In conclusion, this study advances the practicum by introducing an automated tool, significantly improving the accuracy and precision of data acquisition, contributing to the pedagogical effectiveness of physics learning.
