The purpose of this study are to: (1) Determine the level of management efficiency and effectiveness in the marketplace service levies Sukoharjo and Wonogiri 2002-2004, (2) to compare the level of management efficiency and effectiveness of service charges between the market and Wonogiri Sukoharjo year 2002 - 2004. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. The population is Sukoharjo market service charges and Wonogiri. Data collection techniques with variable efficiency and the effectiveness of using documentation obtained from the Office of Management and Wealth Disperindagkop District Sukoharjo and Wonogiri 2002-2004. The data analysis technique used is the Kolmogorov-Smirnov analysis of two independent samples. Based on the results of this study concluded: (1) The efficiency levels of service levy market in Sukoharjo district in 2002, 2003, and 2004 was 31.75%, 29.68% and 29.12%, while its effectiveness rate is 102.08%; 98 , 28% and 100.20%. The level of efficiency in the market service charges Wonogiri 2002, 2003, and 2004 was 42.17%, 37.27% and 37.37% while the level of effectiveness is 88.33%, 169.56% and 47.94%.
