<span xss=removed>This

internship report is written to describe the activities during my internship

program at PT Pratama Transsoftware Intibahasa as known as Translation

Transfer. </span><span xss=removed>Translation Transfer is a professional company engaged in translation

and localization. Located in Jember, East Java, the company has been

established for almost six years since August 29, 2018. Although relatively

new, this agency has completed more than 50 global projects with a word count

of more than 1 million words to date and is able to complete up to 20,000 words

of projects every day. </span><span xss=removed>I

worked as an intern for two months, started from January 29 to March 5, 2024. Translating

a legal document on Financial Service Authority from Indonesian to English was

my primary task as an intern. This document contains 5,747 words on 53 pages. I

translated this material using the three steps of translation: analyzing, transferring,

and restructuring, according to Nida and Taber's translation theory (1982) and

naturalized borrowing technique by Molina Albir (2002). The challenges are I

ran into when translating were unfamiliar terms, difficulty using the CAT tools

feature, and a lack of word equivalency. I used Google Scholar to search for

article references, the legal dictionary, and other online dictionaries, among

other search engines and resources, to find solutions to these issues.</span><span xss=removed> </span><span xss=removed>Translation of the Financial Service Authority text

does not only change the source text to the target text, but also takes into

account the clarity and suitability of the legal context in the target country.

This requires a deep understanding of legal and financial language and

terminology, as well as advanced communication skills to ensure that the

translation is not only technically accurate but also relevant to the intended

context. This internship is an excellent opportunity for me since it allows me

to gain real-world work experience, network with people from different

backgrounds, and advance my translating skills.</span><b><span lang="EN-ID" xss="removed"><br></span></b></a></h1><h1 align="center" xss="removed"><a name="_Toc169195108"><b><span lang="EN-ID" xss="removed"><br></span></b></a></h1></div>
