Since the rise of online learning during the pandemic and the recent exponential growth of AI use in the filed of education, academic dishonesty is a classic topic that regain concerns from researchers and teachers. This study aims to contribute the current discussion, particularly in the context of EFL writing. This research aims to explore (1) types of academic dishonesty found in EFL writing classes and (2) attitudes, experiences, and strategies of teachers to cope with academic dishonesty. The data of this study were obtained from the narration of four secondary EFL teachers in Indonesia. In addition, semi-structured interviews and questionnaire were used to enrich the data and enhance the trustworthiness. The thematic analysis revealed that there were four types of academic dishonesty that were frequently found in EFL Writing class: cheating, fabrication, facilitating academic dishonesty, and plagiarism. The teachers mentioned some strong measures regarding the issues that include class management actions, moral and character education, and personal approach. The study implies that with the changing landscape of education, more discussion on preventive and curative actions and policies are required to maintain academic integrity and minimize academic dishonesty.
