×<p class="MsoNormal" xss="removed" xss=removed><span lang="EN" xss="removed">This final report is made based on independent internship activities at Metta Solo, which took place from January 29 to March 25, 2024. This report is made with the aim of explaining and describing the independent internship activities carried out offline at Metta Solo FM. This report will contain the main activities, namely translating the press release “Livingroom.- Are You Free This Summer? and some additional activities such as creating advertising scripts, public service advertisement scripts, and volunteering in activities organized by Metta Solo FM. While translating this press release, I faced several challenges, including terms that are not common in music press releases, various metaphorical sentences, acronyms, and other unfamiliar terms. To overcome these challenges, I used tools such as Google Docs, online dictionaries and the Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI). This helps me to understand and translate accurately. I also analyze the context and try to understand the meaning contained in the sentences. I also try to maintain the same meaning in the translation, but also ensure that the message can be well understood by the target audience. The method I used in the translation process was the Nida and Taber Method (1982). This method involves restructuring the content to ensure that the message conveyed in the press release can be well understood by the target audience. I made adjustments in sentence structure and word usage to suit the Indonesian language and retain the original meaning. This report provides a comprehensive overview of my experience during the translation process of the press release “Livingroom. - Are You Free This Summer?” press release on Metta Solo FM. I also explain the methods I used and the solutions I implemented to overcome the various obstacles that arose in the translation.<o></o></span></p>
