The Effect of Eye Exercises on Eye Fatigue in DP3AP2KB Employees Surakarta City, Diploma 4 Occupational Safety and Health, Vocational School, Sebelas Maret University, SurakartaBackground : Working by staring at a computer continuously for >4 hours every day makes workers experience eye fatigue complaints such as red, watery eyes, blurred vision and headaches. The rate of eye fatigue in the world is 40% to 90% and according to Indonesian health data the incidence of eye fatigue in Indonesia in the workforce reaches a rate of 1.49%. This study aims to determine the effect of eye exercises on eye fatigue in computer users of DP3AP2KB Surakarta City employees.Methode : This research is a quasi-experimental research with non-equivalent control group design. Respondents are computer user employees of DP32AP2KB Surakarta City totaling 40 people. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. This study used an eye fatigue questionnaire as a research measurement tool by providing eye exercise interventions to the experimental group. Data analysis techniques used were Wilcoxon test and Mann-Whitney test. Result : The characteristics of respondents in the form of age, working period, eye distance to the screen and frequency of breaks are related to eye fatigue. The experimental group test results showed a value of 0.001 and in the control group showed a value of 0.705.
