This internship report was written based on my online internship program conducted at KONEKIN, based in Jakarta, from January 15 to March 15, 2024. The objectives of this internship were: 1) to apply the knowledge related to translation that I had gained in college, 2) to gain experience working in the inclusion industry by participating in several company activities, and 3) to gain new knowledge by translating Assessment and Activity Report documents. The purposes of this final report are to explain the process of translating Assessment and Activity Report, analyze the problems occurred during the translation process, and describe the solutions. In translating the Assessment and Activity Report, I did three stages, including Analyzing, Transferring, and Restructuring. In the analyzing stage, from the two documents, I found new terms about inclusion such as pedestrian, paraplegia, and curation. In the second stage, Transferring, I translated using two techniques, which is literal translation and borrowing. In the third stage, Restructuring, I made three adjustments related to the addition of subjects, language style, and word choice. There were technical problems and non-technical problems I faced. The technical problems were related to the hardware, software, and access to CAT Tools. These problems prevented me from completing each assignment. The solutions to these problems were servicing the hardware, communicating with supervisors, and preparing the devices early before clocking in. Non-technical problems were related to difficulties in translating inclusion terms and the solution was to look up the meaning of these terms in online KBBI.
