× <p>This research is driven by the urgent need for effective and safe Occupational Safety and Health (K3) training for firefighters in Magetan Regency. Conventional K3 training often falls short in presenting realistic emergency situations, necessitating innovative solutions. The primary goal of this study is to develop a fire extinguisher training system using Virtual Reality (VR) and to analyze the feasibility of this system in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, and user acceptance. The literature review includes various studies on the use of VR in safety training. The results indicate that VR has significant potential to enhance training efficiency and effectiveness by providing realistic and interactive simulations, allowing trainees to experience dangerous situations in a controlled environment. This research methodology involves several systematic stages. The first stage is needs analysis, where the specific training needs for fire extinguishers among firefighters are identified. The second stage is the design of the VR system, which includes creating training scenarios and developing software. The third stage is implementation, where the VR system is trialed by users. The final stage is feasibility testing and evaluation, conducted using two main tools: the System Usability Scale (SUS) and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The testing results show that the VR system achieved an average SUS score of 69.75, indicating that the system is well accepted by the majority of respondents (22 out of 30 respondents). The TAM evaluation revealed several key findings: Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) significantly influences Perceived Usefulness (PU) with a T-Statistic value of 12.060 (p = 0.000) and Attitude Toward Using (ATU) with a T-Statistic value of 5.910 (p = 0.000). PU significantly influences Behavioral Intention to Use (BITU) with a T-Statistic value of 2.792 (p = 0.005), and ATU significantly influences BITU with a T-Statistic value of 2.245 (p = 0.025). Additionally, BITU significantly influences Actual System Use (ASU) with a T-Statistic value of 4.002 (p = 0.000), while PU does not significantly influence ATU with a T-Statistic value of 1.694 (p = 0.090). The conclusion of this study is that the VR-based fire extinguisher training system developed is effective and feasible for implementation in the Magetan Fire Department environment. This system demonstrates significant potential to improve training safety and efficiency, providing a realistic and immersive learning experience, and is well received by users. Therefore, the use of VR in fire extinguisher training can be an innovative solution to enhance training quality and occupational safety for firefighters.</p><div><br></div>
