This internship report is written based on my internship program at Pruf Ritz Communication Hub, located at Virto Coworking Space, Ruko Galaxy Bumi Permai J1-23 A, Sukolilo, Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia 61119 from January 22 to April 19, 2024. The main objectives of this internship program are: 1) to adapt to the working environment, especially in a translation agency, 2) to apply the skills I have learned from English Diploma Program, and 3) to improve my ability to use CAT Tools when working on translation projects. The purpose of writing this internship report is to explain my experience during my internship at Pruf Ritz, the process I went through to translate a self-improvement non-fiction books entitled “Seorang Pria Yang Melalui Duka Dengan  Mencuci Piring” and “You Do You”, analyze the problems I encountered, and describe the solutions I took to solve those problems. During the translation process, I used the translation process from Nida and Taber (1992), which included analyzing, transferring, and restructuring the text. I also applied some translation techniques from Molina and Albir (2002) to help me solve the translation problems I found in the books. In addition, I also used online dictionaries to find the right definition to translate difficult terms from the source language (Indonesian) to the target language (English). There are 2 main problems that I encountered during this internship program: 1) linguistic problems; some verbal phrases, terms, and idioms from the source language needed to be adjusted to the target language. The solution I did to translate these phrases and terms was to research on the internet to find the appropriate terms with the same meaning in the target language, and 2) non-linguistic problems; communication between students and staff and interns from other universities, especially during the implementation of additional activities in the form of webinars. To keep the webinar running well, I communicated actively with the CEO who guided the webinar preparation, and encouraged the students from other universities to be able to contribute to the webinar preparation as fellow interns at the agency.
