ABSTRACT The waveguide modes in polystyrene thin film fabricated by spin coating at ± 2729 rpm and spin time 2.5 minutes have been characterized using m-line technique. The result is the electromagnetic wave can be guided by polystyrene thin film. In the experiment, this result was shown by the appearance dark line intersecting the bright spot.
