June 2024.</span></p><p xss=removed><span xss=removed> </span></p><p xss=removed><span xss=removed>This study aims to increase: (1) students' critical thinking skills in learning history through the use of digital-based teaching materials for class X-6 at SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar. (2) the ability of students' learning achievement in learning history through the use of digital-based teaching materials for class X-6 at SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar.</span></p><p xss=removed><span xss=removed>This research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method with four steps, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were students in class X-E 6 of SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar in the 2023/2024 school year, totaling 36 students. The object of research is critical thinking skills, student learning achievement, and digital-based teaching materials. Data collection through interviews, observations, and tests. Data analysis used interactive and comparative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study are as follows: (1) Use of digital-based teaching materials in history learning is proven to be effective in improving students' critical thinking skills. This increase in critical thinking can be seen from the number of participants in the learning process. The amount of students whose critical thinking has increased as determined by multiple- choice questions used in assessments. The results of the evaluation carried out at the pre-cycle stage were 15 students who had scores above the KKTP, at the first cycle stage it increased to 20 students, and increased again to 35 students who had scores above the KKTP in cycle II. (2) The use of digital-based teaching materials in learning history is proven to be effective in improving students' learning achievement abilities. This increase can be seen from the average history learning achievement of X-E 6 class students measured through the implementation of multiple choice tests at the end of the lesson. The test results carried out at the pre- cycle stage had an average acquisition of 60, at the first cycle stage increased to 65, and increased again to 81 in the second cycle.</span></p>
