×<p>ABSTRACT</p><p>Orchid acclimatization is the stage of conditioning orchid seedlings to live in an environment outside the bottle. This study was conducted to prove the effect of IBA soaking and covering method on the best growth of Vanda orchids during the acclimatization period. The research activities werecarried in an open field with paranets at Ngringo Village, Jaten Sub-district, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java from March-September 2022. The research was conducted using a 2-factor nested design of the IBA factor nested in the covering method (covering and without covering as the nesting factor and the nested factors are treatment without IBA and using IBA) with 5 repetition consist of 2 samples for each repetition. During the acclimatization period for 12 weeks with communal pots, 50 ppm IBA soaking and covering method did not give a significant increase in all observation variables.The result showed that during the acclimatization period for 12 weeks with a single pot, root length with 50 ppm IBA soaking increased by 8%, while without IBA soaking increased by 7.2%. The covering method showed an increase in the height of Vanda sp var Rosatti Agrihorti by 21.44%. While the treatment without a covering method only increased plant height by 9.26%.</p><div><br></div>
