</span>to<span xss=removed> </span>acquiring<span xss=removed> </span>new<span xss=removed> </span>vocabulary.<span xss=removed> </span>The<span xss=removed> </span>participants<span xss=removed> </span>in<span xss=removed> </span>this<span xss=removed> </span>study<span xss=removed> </span>were<span xss=removed> </span>junior high<span xss=removed> </span>and<span xss=removed> </span>high<span xss=removed> </span>school<span xss=removed>

</span>students<span xss=removed> </span>who<span xss=removed> </span>actively<span xss=removed>

</span>used<span xss=removed> </span>TikTok<span xss=removed> </span>to<span xss=removed> </span>learn<span xss=removed> </span>English.<span xss=removed>

</span>A<span xss=removed> </span>total<span xss=removed> </span>of<span xss=removed> </span>35 students

participated by filling out questionnaires, and several were interviewed. The

writer employed a purposive sampling technique to select participants. This

research used a qualitative case study method, collecting data through

questionnaires, interviews, and vocabulary tests. The results indicate the

students have a generally positive<span xss=removed> </span>experience<span xss=removed> </span>of<span xss=removed> </span>using<span xss=removed> </span>TikTok<span xss=removed> </span>for<span xss=removed> </span>vocabulary<span xss=removed> </span>learning.<span xss=removed> </span>They<span xss=removed> </span>found<span xss=removed> </span>it<span xss=removed> </span>enjoyable, easy to access, and engaging,

which motivated them to learn more. TikTok also helps students<span xss=removed> </span>discover<span xss=removed>

</span>new<span xss=removed> </span>vocabulary<span xss=removed> </span>informally,<span xss=removed> </span>but<span xss=removed> </span>there<span xss=removed> </span>are<span xss=removed> </span>challenges<span xss=removed> </span>such<span xss=removed> </span>as<span xss=removed> </span>difficulty in understanding certain

accents and occasional technical issues like app lagging. Despite these

challenges, TikTok was found to be a valuable supplementary tool for vocabulary

learning, contributing to students’ overall language development.<o></o></span></p>
