Education, economic status, and

lifestyle are factors that may influence infertility awareness. Low awareness can

hinder treatment decisions. This study aimed to assess the relationship between

these three factors and infertility knowledge among infertile women.

Methods: A case-control study was conducted from February to March 2025 in five

hospitals in Central Java, involving 100 infertile women aged 20–45 years, selected

through purposive sampling. Data were collected via interviews using

questionnaires on economic status, education, lifestyle (HPLP-II), and infertility

knowledge (FIT-KS). Data were analyzed using chi-square tests and multivariate

logistic regression. Ethical approval was granted by the Ethics Committee.

Results: Participants had a mean age of 31.95 years and had been married for an

average of 5.9 years.
