Paddy is a commodity that produces rice as one of the staple foods corp for the Indonesian population. Effective fertilizer application methods are expected to improve the productivity and quality of rice plants. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of several fertilizer application methods on the growth and yield of paddy, as well as to enhance the efficiency of broadcast fertilizer. This research was conducted in Dusun Pucuk, Gemawang Village, Ngadirojo District, Wonogiri Regency, Central Java, from April-July 2024. The method used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a single plot and five treatments with each treatments without replication, namely 100% broadcast fertilization, 75% broadcast fertilization + 3 times foliar fertilizer, 75% broadcast fertilization + 4 times foliar fertilizer, 75% broadcast fertilization + 5 times foliar fertilizer, and 75% broadcast fertilization + 6 times foliar fertilizer. Data analysis used was a T-test with a significance level of 95% and correlation analysis between variables. The observed variables included plant height, leaf greenness level, panicle emergence, total and productive tillers per clump, wet and dry grain weight per clump, 1000-grain weight, percentage of filled grains per panicle, and productivity. The results showed that 100% broadcast fertilization increased plant height, leaf greenness, wet and dry grain weight, 1000-grain weight, and productivity. The combination of 75% broadcast fertilization with 3 times foliar fertilizer resulted in faster panicle emergence, higher total and productive tillers, and percentage of filled grains.
