Employing qualitative content analysis with a deductive approach, the study examines tasks and activities based on TBLT principles proposed by Nunan (2004). Data were collected through document analysis. Findings show that only 23% of tasks align with TBLT principles such as task authenticity, learner-centeredness, and structured task phases. Specifically, 21% reflect meaning-focused language use; 17?dress form in context; while just 10?monstrate fluency, accuracy, complexity, and learning by doing. These results indicateevident but partiall integration of TBLT elements, suggesting the textbook partially supports communicative language teaching. Task authenticity is inconsistently applied, limiting opportunities for real-world language use.<o></o>

This study recommends enhancing textbook design with more interactive, authentic, and multimodal tasks. Future research should explore TBLT's long-term effects, compare textbooks, assess digital task integration, and investigate teachers’ perspectives on applying TBLT in classroom practice.<o></o>
