× ABSTRACT The objectivies of the research is (1) for increasing student’s learning activity with using recitation method electric Outomotive comptence in class XI TKRb in academic year 2009/2010. (2) for increasing student’s learning achievement with using recitation methods electric Outomotive comptence in class XI TKRb in academic year 2009/2010. Research conducted in 3 months in February to April 2010, in SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta. The research is students in Class XI TKRb ( simpilty motor technique class b) with 33 students. The research was used in Class Action Research procedure with 2 cycle. The Technique of Collecting data are test technique and non test technique. The collecting of data is test that working students and Activity with using activity obsevering, are giving on cycle 1 and cycle 2. Based on the result of the research are concluded that the learning with recitation can be increasing student’s learnig activity ang achievement learning for electric Outomotive in class XI TKRb SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta in academic year 2009/2010. The result of learning with recitation Method to increasing Student’s learning activity,on student and teacher interaction aspect to increasing from 10 students to 30 students so increasing 200 precent, for responsible aspect to increasing from 30 students to 33 students or increasing 10 precent. While presence aspect from cycle 1 to cycle 2 is not increasing . While for learning achievement so increasing, learning achievement form tes in beginning condition can be obtained average 54,96. From cycle 1 can be that with recitation method that giving every twice seasion can be obtained the average of daily test of average 66,06. Implementer of cycle 2 with recitation method with every session can be obtained the average 77,87.
