This research explores the EFL students' perception on language learning beyond the classroom to enhance speaking fluency at a state university in Surakarta. This research aims to identify the students' perception on language learning beyond the classroom and the roles in enhancing speaking fluency. This research is a qualitative study using a case study approach. The data were collected through questionnaires, personal interview, observation, and document analysis. The data collected were analyzed using interactive models including data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion. This study revealed that EFL students' have positive perception on language learning beyond the classroom. They perceive that this method significantly improves their speaking fluency by providing a comfortable environment. It also found that language learning beyond the classroom has significant role in enhancing speaking fluency. The findings suggest that future research should further explore the roles and outcomes of language learning beyond the classroom to contribute significantly in the advancement of educational practices and strategies.
