Background: Batik workers tended to work in static positions with non-ergonomic postures for long periods of time, increased the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the POSE (Posture Optimized for Sustainable Efficiency) ergonomic chair in reducing MSD complaints among batik workers at the UMKM Dewi Ratih Sragen. Method: This study was a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of 44 batik workers, divided into two groups (control and experimental). The experimental group received the POSE chair intervention for four weeks. The measurement instrument used was the Nordic Body Map (NBM). Result: Data analysis was performed using Paired T-Test and Independent T-Test. The results showed that the experimental group experienced a significant decrease in MSDs scores from 86.50 to 55.05 (p<0 p=0.175).> Keywords: Ergonomic Chair, Musculoskeletal Disorder, Nordic Body Map.
