The research entitled Technical Efficiency BUMD Using DEA (Data
Envelopment Analysis) Method (Case Studies PD BKK in Karanganyar district
2006-2008)) has a purpose (1) to know the level of efficiency in BKK
Karanganyar district, (2) determine the factors that cause BKK Karanganyar
district inefficiencies and solutions to achive efficiency, (3) knowing the health of
BKK Karanganyar district through CAMEL method.
This research uses analysis of primary data by questionnaire method or
questionnaire surveys or questionnaires, analysis of secondary data by retrieve the
financial data in study of BKK Karanaganyar district in 2006-2008. The method
chosen is to determine the performance of banking efficiency by using DEA
(Data Envelopment Analysis) and determine the health level by CAMEL method.
Results of research based on quantitative analysis with the results is
obtained by the DEA method in PD. BKK Karanganyar has shown inefficiency
with score efficiency 95,62%, in 2007 PD. BKK Mojogedang, PD. BKK Kerjo,
and PD. BKK Gondangrejo experiences inefficiencies that each score efficiency is
99,69%; 99,82%, and 99,69%, in 2008 PD BKK Karanganyar, PD. BKK Kerjo,
and PD. BKK Jatipuro experiences inefficiencies that each score efficiency is
99,97%; 99,68%; and 99,40. CAMEL method of calculation results with weighted
assesment of the level of health in 2006-2008 that PD. BKK Karanganyar
obtained in 2006 has criteria quite well, while for others have health criteria.
Thereover, suggestions that can be given as consideration in improving its
operation that a good operational perfomance will become technical efficiency.
For BKK Karanganyar distric has an efficient and healthy needs to be maintaned
and improved.
