Internship programs provide students with the opportunity to apply the knowledge they have learned in college in a real work experience. This report contains the story of my experience during the internship program at Jogja Translator, an agency specializing in translation and producing bilingual content as part of their service promotion strategy. This internship was held offline for two months, from February 3 to March 25, 2025. This internship aimed to develop a strategy for combining words and visuals in producing digital content for social media (Instagram and Facebook), such as linguistic and education content, which I developed during my internship at Jogja Translator. The first challenge for in this activity was finding and delivering topics that suit the target audience's needs with an interesting presentation. In addition, in the second challenge, I also had difficulty in making a bilingual article for education content, especially text containing cultural terms. The solutions to face the first challenge were to look and observe trends that are viral and interesting related to the target audience and their relevant needs. I also used visuals and highlights to make the audience more easily catch the information, slang words to get closer to the audience, and AIDA strategy introduced by Elmo Lewis (1898) to organize the content messages in order from beginning to end. Moreover, for the second challenge, I implemented some strategies from Mona Baker (1992) and Molina and Albir (2002) to translate the cultural terms I found in the article. The results show that the combination of visual elements and words can effectively and significantly increase the ease of understanding information for the audience. Visual adjustments that are displayed support the process of receiving messages to be conveyed properly. This activity proves that the blend of words or linguistics with visuals is a good and appropriate strategy in conveying messages, especially if the message has a high information value and requires a complex explanation. From this internship, I gained some new experiences in the world of content and translation. For example, wh en creating content for social media, I learned that creating content was not just about creating, but also thinking about several important aspects such as target audience, language style, interesting topics, engaging delivery, and promoting company services. Therefore, during my internship, I was able to implement the content writing and copywriting skills that I had learned in the first to third semester, especially in producing content that is appropriate and supports the company's branding. Not only content creation, but I also learned to translate texts that contain cultural elements, so that I was challenged to think critically and creatively at the same time.
