× ABSTRAK Analisis Hubungan Antara Investment Opportunity Set (IOS) Dengan Kebijakan Pendanaan Dan Dividen Perusahaan Manufaktur Di Bursa Efek Indonesia Oleh : SRI SUGIARTI F0206020 Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji hubungan antara investment opportunity set (IOS) dengan kebijakan pendanaan dan dividen perusahaan. Variabel proksi IOS yang digunakan meliputi market to book value of equity, market to book value of assets, earning price ratio, capital expenditure to book value of assets, dan capital expenditure to market value of asset. Sedangkan variabel kebijakan pendanaan menggunakan rasio book debt to equity dan variabel kebijakan dividen menggunakan dividen payout ratio dan dividen yield. Nilai masing-masing indikator dianalisis menggunakan common factor analysis. Sebelum dilakukan pengujian korelasi antara nilai IOS dengan kebijakan pendanaan dan dividen, dilakukan pengujian normalitas variabel terlebih dahulu. Pengujian menggunakan one sample kolmogorov smirnov test. Dari hasil pengujian, semua variabel berdistribusi normal sehingga pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan korelasi Product Moment Pearson. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI (Bursa Efek Indonesia) periode 2004-2007. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur. Teknik sampling yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode purposive sampling. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara IOS dengan Book Debt to Equity, (2) Terdapat hubungan positif yang tidak signifikan antara IOS dengan Dividen Payout, dan (3) Terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara IOS dengan Dividen Yield.. ABSTRACT Analysis of Relationship Between Investment Opportunity Set (IOS) With Financing And Dividend Policy Manufacturing Company In Indonesia Stock Exchange By: SRI SUGIARTI F0206020 This study aims to examine the relationship between the investment opportunity set (IOS) with the dividend policy and corporate funding. IOS variables used include MBV of equity, MBV of assets, price earning ratio, capital expenditure to book value of assets, and capital expenditure to market value of assets. While the funding policy variables using the ratio of book debt to equity and dividend policy variables using the dividend payout ratio and dividend yield. The value of each indicator is analyzed using common factor analysis. Before testing the correlation between the value of the IOS with the financing and dividend policies, testing the normality of the variable first. Tests using one sample Kolmogorov Smirnov Test. From the test results, all variables are normally distributed so that hypothesis testing is done by using Pearson Product Moment correlation. The population in this study are all manufacturing companies listed on the IDX (Indonesian Stock Exchange) for the period 2004-2007. Samples from this study is a manufacturing company. The sampling technique used in this study were a purposive sampling method. Results obtained in this study were (1) There is a significant negative relationship between the IOS with the Book Debt to Equity (2) There are no significant positive relationship between the IOS with Dividend Payout, and (3) There is a significant negative relationship between the IOS with Dividend Yield .
