×<p><span class="fontstyle0">In the past 25 years, Emotional Intelligence (EI) has become an important part of personal success, well-being, and relationships with others. In language learning, being able to manage emotions helps students think clearly, make plans, and stay motivated. This study aims to find out how EI is included in the Indonesian EFL textbook “Bahasa Inggris: Work on Progress” for tenth-grade senior high school students. The researcher used content analysis and based the study on Babaei and Abdi’s EI framework. The study looked at all six chapters of the textbook and focused on exercises, discussions, and assessments to see how EI appears in the content. The results show that the textbook includes EI well, especially in the area of social skills. The most common sub-skill found was expression. However, some EI parts were still missing or not fully developed. Overall, the textbook supports students’ personal development and helps create a more complete kind of education. Since EI is now seen as important in both school and daily life, textbooks like this are a good step forward.</span><br xss=removed></p>
