This final project report was written based on the writer's experience while carrying out student internship activities at TVKU Semarang for 3 months, starting from January 20 to April 15, 2025. This report aimed to recap the entire process and work experience experienced by the writer during the internship. This report provided information about the TVKU Semarang company, including its background, vision, mission, organizational structure, and discussions related to the writer's activities. The focus of this report was the creation and translation of social news scripts. During the process of creating news, the writer needed to face various structured stages, starting from reporting, backing up files, to writing Indonesian scripts. After the news was successfully aired, the writer was mandated to translate the news script into English. This was undoubtedly a challenge for the writer in finding equivalent terms that could be understood by the target audience. The writer applied Nida and Taber's (1982:12) translation theory of analyzing, transferring, and restructuring in the translation process. Not only that, the writer also applied some translation techniques from Molina and Albir (2002:510), which were particularization and pure borrowing, to produce an appropriate equivalent. As a complement to the translation, the writer also included some reliable sources, such as websites and parallel texts that contained elements in the discussion. In addition to creating and translating news, the writer also participated in activities outside the news, such as creating content, programming the broadcast system, and being a cameraman. In the last chapter, conclusion of this report, the writer presents the experience and knowledge gained through internship activities at TVKU Semarang for three months.
