English Diploma Program, Vocational School, Universitas Sebelas Maret.   This final report is written based on the internship activity at PW Translation, Yogyakarta, which was conducted online from February 17th to April 11th, 2025. The internship was part of the Kuliah Magang Mahasiswa (KMM) program for the English Diploma Program of Sebelas Maret University. The internship aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical and practical experience in the translation industry. During the internship, I translated legal documents, such as a birth certificate, a diploma certificate, an employment contract, and approval and validation of a company's legal entity. In addition to translation tasks, I was also involved in developing creative content for PW Translation’s social media accounts. The project was the creation of a TikTok video discussing “false friends” in translation, which aimed to educate and engage the audience while promoting the company’s services. Translating legal texts needs a high level of accuracy and a deep understanding of legal terminology, and the formatting rules used in such documents are required. In the translation process, I used Nida and Taber's (1982) theory of the translation process, emphasizing analyzing, transferring, and restructuring. I also applied the translation techniques proposed by Molina and Albir (2002), especially established equivalence. In addition to hard skills, such as terminology research and legal translation, this internship helped me build critical soft skills, including time management, attention to detail, and communication in a remote work setting. All things considered, this experience greatly helped in the effective completion of my final project and has been extremely useful in preparing me for future professional employment in the translation industry.
