Background: The use of motorcycle in Indonesia reported a year on year increase continuously. This high demand, makes the transportation industry developed very fast. One of the professions that highly developed in this sector is motorcycle-based ride-hailing driver. However, this highly driving activity by motorcycle-based ride-hailing driver is not followed by a good safety riding knowledge and attitudes. This fact is proven by a high number of traffic accident by motorcycle driver, includes in Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The lack of safety riding education is one of the factors causing the lack of knowledge and attitude of safety riding among motorcycle-based ride-hailing drivers. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of PROJOL on improving knowledge and attitudes among motorcycle-based ride-hailing drivers.Method: This study used a quantitative quasi-experimental design with a one group pre-test post-test. A total of 56 from 124 motorcycle-based ride-hailing drivers were use as sample, selected by a purposive sampling method. The intervention was one-day program Pelatihan Riding Ojek Online (PROJOL). The data were collected through a pre-test before the intervention, and post-test 3 days after the intervention. Data analysis was conducted using a paired-sample t-test.Result: The results indicate a significant improvement in both knowledge and attitude scores after the training p=0.001. Therefore, the PROJOL training program was proven to be effective in enhancing the knowledge and safety riding attitudes of motorcycle-based ride-hailing drivers. Conclusion: Pelatihan Riding Ojek Online (PROJOL) significantly improves the knowledge and attitude of safety driving in motorcycle-based ride-hailing drivers.
