North Maluku Province possesses significant economic potential but is faced with the challenge of uneven social infrastructure development. This study aims to analyze the influence of social infrastructure—proxied by the availability of electricity, clean water, education, and health—on economic growth in 10 regencies/cities of North Maluku province. This study employs a quantitative approach with secondary data from the 2014-2023 and 10 regencies/cities. Besides, this study selects Random Effects Model (REM). The findings show that of the four variables tested, only clean water infrastructure has a positive and statistically significant effect on economic growth (GRDP). The simultaneous significance test also indicates that the four variables have a significant effect at a 95% confidence level (p-value = 0.0041). This finding suggests that the impact of infrastructure investment in the region is highly context-dependent. The lack of significance for education, health, and electricity infrastructure may arise from North Maluku's unique economic structure, which is dominated by the mining sector, as well as challenges related to service quality and equitable distribution in a fragmented, archipelagic region. Therefore, the local governments should prioritize fundamental investments that directly address basic needs, such as clean water, which has a more immediate impact on community productivity and health.
