× ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) keefektivan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dibanding model pembelajaran langsung dengan metode ekspositori terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, (2) prestasi belajar matematika mana yang lebih baik siswa yang mempunyai motivasi tinggi, sedang atau rendah, (3) pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD mana yang lebih baik prestasi belajarnya siswa dengan motivasi tinggi, sedang atau rendah, (4) pada model pembelajaran langsung dengan metode ekspositori mana yang lebih baik prestasi belajarnya pada siswa dengan motivasi tinggi, sedang atau rendah, (5) pada siswa motivasi tinggi mana yang memberikan prestasi belajar lebih baik dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD atau model pembelajaran langsung dengan metode ekspositori, (6) pada siswa motivasi sedang mana yang memberikan prestasi belajar lebih baik dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD atau model pembelajaran langsung dengan metode ekspositori, (7) pada siswa motivasi rendah mana yang memberikan prestasi belajar lebih baik dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD atau model pembelajaran langsung dengan metode ekspositori. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMK se-Kabupaten Bojonegoro tahun 2009/2010. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri kelompok eksperimen : SMK Negeri 1 Bojonegoro terdiri atas 36 siswa, SMK PGRI 3 Bojonegoro terdiri atas 46 siswa dan SMK PGRI 2 Bojonegoro terdiri atas 45 siswa, jumlah kelompok eksperimen 127, sedangkan kelompok kontrol : SMK Negeri 1 terdiri atas 35 siswa, SMK PGRI 3 terdiri atas 40 siswa dan SMK PGRI 2 terdiri atas 41 siswa, jumlah kelompok kontrol 116 siswa. Jadi jumlah siswa seluruhnya adalah 243 siswa diperoleh dengan cara stratified cluster random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan dokumentasi, angket dan tes. Analisis data dengan analisis variansi dua jalan dengan sel tak sama dengan uji prasyarat normalitas dan homogenitas. Dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Prestasi belajar matematika siswa dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD lebih baik daripada prestasi belajar matematika siswa dengan model pembelajaran langsung dengan metode ekspositori, (2) Prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar matematika tinggi lebih baik daripada siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar sedang dan siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar matematika sedang lebih baik dari pada siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar rendah, (3) Prestasi belajar matematika siswa dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar tinggi lebih baik daripada siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar sedang dan siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar sedang lebih baik daripada siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar rendah, dan juga siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar tinggi lebih baik daripada siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar rendah, (4) Prestasi belajar matematika siswa dengan model pembelajaran langsung dengan metode ekspositori siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar tinggi lebih baik daripada siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar sedang dan siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar sedang lebih baik daripada siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar rendah, dan juga siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar tinggi lebih baik daripada siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar rendah, (5) Prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar tinggi dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD lebih baik daripada dengan model pembelajaran langsung dengan metode ekspositori, (6) Prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar sedang dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD lebih baik daripada dengan model pembelajaran langsung dengan metode ekspositori, (7) Prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar rendah dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD lebih baik daripada dengan model pembelajaran langsung dengan metode ekspositori. ABSTRACT This research aims to find out: (1) the effectiveness of STAD type of cooperative learning model compared with the expository direct learning model on the student’s learning achievement, (2) which mathematics learning achievement that is better in the students with high, intermediate or low motivation, (3) which the STAD type of cooperative learning model that is better in the students with high, intermediate or low motivation, (4) which the expository direct learning model that is better in the students with high, intermediate or low motivation, (5) in the students with high motivation, which one gives the better learning achievement, the STAD type of cooperative learning model or the expository direct learning model, (6) in the students with intermediate motivation, which one gives the better learning achievement, the STAD type of cooperative learning model or the expository direct learning model, (7) in the students with low motivation, which one gives the better learning achievement, the STAD type of cooperative learning model or the expository direct learning model. This research employed a quasi-experimental. The research population was all students of XI graders of SMK in Regency Bojonegoro in 2009/2010. The research sample consists of experimental group: SMK Negeri 1 Bojonegoro consisting of 36 students, SMK PGRI 3 Bojonegoro consisting of 46 students and SMK PGRI 2 Bojonegoro consisting of 45 students, the number of experiment groups were 127, while the control group: SMK Negeri 1 consisting of 35 students, SMK PGRI 3 Bojonegoro consisting of 40 students and SMK PGRI 2 Bojonegoro consisting of 41 students, the number of experiment groups were 116. So the total number of students was 243 obtained using stratified cluster random sampling. The data was collected using documentation, questionnaire and test. Data analysis was done using a two way variance analysis with different cell with normality and homogeneity requirement test. In this research it can be concluded that: (1) the student’ mathematics learning achievement using STAD type of cooperative learning model is better than the one using the methods expository direct learning model, (2) the mathematics learning achievement of the students with high motivation is better than that of the students with intermediate learning motivation and the mathematics learning achievement of the students with intermediate motivation is better than that of the students with low learning motivation, moreover the mathematics learning achievement of the students with high motivation is better than that of the students with low learning motivation (3) the student’ mathematics learning achievement using STAD type of cooperative learning model in the students with high motivation is better than that in the students with intermediate learning motivation and that in the students with intermediate learning motivation is better than that in the students with low learning motivation, moreover in the students with high motivation is better than that in the students with low learning motivation, (4) the student’ mathematics learning achievement using methods expository direct learning model in the students with high motivation is better than that in the students with intermediate learning motivation and that in the students with intermediate learning motivation is better than that in the students with low learning motivation,moreover in the students with high motivation is better than that in the students with low learning motivation, (5) the mathematics learning of the students with high learning motivation using STAD type of cooperative learning model is better than that using methods expository direct learning model, (6) the mathematics learning of the students with intermediate learning motivation using STAD type of cooperative learning model is better than that using methods expository direct learning model, and (7) the mathematics learning of the students with low learning motivation using STAD type of cooperative learning model is better than that using methods expository direct learning model.
