Analisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi usahatani padi organik di Kabupaten Sragen

× ABSTRAKSI Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menjadi pertimbangan petani dalam melakukan usahatani padi organik, (2) menganalisis pengaruh faktor-faktor produksi luas lahan, modal, tenaga kerja, bibit, pupuk, pestisida organik dan penyuluhan, dan (3) mengetahui perbedaan pendapatan usahatani padi organik dari petani yang belum pernah mengikuti penyuluhan dan petani yang sudah mengikuti penyuluhan dari PPL. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengambil sampel 100 petani padi organik yang tersebar di Kecamatan Sambirejo, Ngrampal dan Tangan. Lokasi penelitian di Kabupaten Sragen. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada masa tanam antara Juni dan September 2009. Kegunaan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat akan manfaat menanam padi organik dan penyuluhan, sedang kepada pemerintah untuk pengambilan kebijakan dalam hal intensitas penyuluhan dan memasyarakatkan pertanian organik yang menjadi priorotas pengembangan pertanian modern. Koefisien determinasi R2 sebesar 0,968, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variasi variabel luas lahan, modal, biaya tenaga, biaya bibit, biaya pupuk, biaya pestisida dan penyuluhan hanya mampu menjelaskan sebesar 96,8% terhadap variasi variabel pendapatan petani. Sedangkan sisanya 3,2% dijelaskan oleh variasi variabel lain diluar model penelitian ini. Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) luas lahan terbukti dominan berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan petani sehingga perlu adanya penambahan luas lahan pada setiap petani. (2) Modal terbukti berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan petani sehingga perlu adanya penguatan modal setiap petani. (3) Biaya tenaga tidak terbukti berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan petani sehingga pada masa datang tidak perlu memasukkan variabel tersebut atau untuk meyakinkan maka variabel tersebut perlu diteliti ulang. (4) Biaya bibit tidak terbukti berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan petani, sehingga tidak perlu adanya penambahan biaya bibit pada setiap petani. (5) Biaya pupuk terbukti berpengaruh terhadap Pendapatan Petani sehingga usahatani yang dilakukan masih perlu adanya penambahan biaya pupuk pada setiap petani. (6) Biaya pestisida tidak terbukti berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan petani, sehingga tidak perlu adanya penambahan biaya pestisida pada setiap petani. (7) Penyuluhan terbukti berpengaruh positif terhadap Pendapatan Petani, sehingga perlu penambahan intensitas penyuluhan pada setiap petani. Dari hasil penelitian di atas dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa dengan intensitas penyuluhan yang tinggi, petani padi organik di Kabupaten Sragen akan meningkat pedapatannya. Dengan sistem penanaman padi organik yang baik sesuai anjuran penyuluh pertanian lapangan (PPL), selain akan meningkatan pendapatan petani juga menjadikan lahan pertanian menjadi subur dan lingkugan menjadi lebih baik. Oleh karea itu pemerintah dapat lebih meningkatkan perannya dalam memberikan bimbingan penyuluhan kepada petani melalui kelompok tani – kelompok tani yang tersebar di setiap desa. Diyakini dengan intensitas penyuluhan yang lebih tinggi, selain akan meningkatkan penyerapan teknologi baru dibidang pertanian juga mampu mendorong petani untuk selalu memperbaiki lingkungan usahatainya. ABSTRACT The project of this research is (1) Knowing the factors which will be farmer’s judgement for doing their effort for organic rice(2) Analizing the influence of productive factors, the wide area, capital, labours, seeds, fertilizer, orgaic pesticide and the counsel effort.(3) Knowing the differet income between farmers who have never joined the counsel and the ones who have got it. This research is done by taking 100 farmers of organic rice as sample in Sambirejo, Ngrampal and Tangen subdistrict. The location of samle is in Sragen Regency. It had been done between June and September 2009. the aim of this research is for giving information to people around about the advantages of planting organic rice and the counsel, ad for the government, it is for taking policies on the term of counsel, intensity and socialization organic farming which becomes the priority I developing modem agriculture. The coefficient determination R2 is around 0,968. It shows that variety of variables of the wide field, capital, the cost of labours, seeds fertilizer, pesticide and the counsel only show the rat op 96,8% to the variables of the farmer’s income. And the rest 3,2% can be explained by other variables outside of this research model. The result of analizying research shows that (1) the wide field influences more to the farmers income so that it needs expanding the area for every farmer (2) The capital ifluences evidently to farmers income so that it eeds more capital for farmers(3) The cost of labour doesn’t influence to the farmer’s income so in the future, it doesn’t need to include this variable or to convince it, it needs to be examined carefully again. (4) The cost of seed doesn’t influence to the farmers income, so it doesn’t need the additional amount in term of the cost of seed for every farmer. (5) The cost of fertilizer influence evidently to the farmers in come so that their efforts which have been done, need to increase the cost of fertilizer on each farmer.(6) The cost of pesticide does’t influence to the farmers income, so it doesn’t need to increase the amount of cost pesticide on each farmer. (7) The counsel, evidently has positive influences to the farmers income so that it needs to add the intensity of coun seting to every farmer. From the reseach above, it can be concluded that with the higher intensity of counsel, the farmers of organic rice in Sragen Regency will increase their income. The system in Planting Organic rice based on the recommendation from the agricultural counsellorsin field, is hot only increasing farmers income but also making the field so fertile and good surrounding. Therefore, the government can increase the role I giving guidance and counseling to farmers through their groups which spread out in every village. It has been believed that the higher counselingintensity is not only increasing in getting the new technology on agriculture but also supporting the farmers to improve their effort in their surrounding.
