This study examines how queer identity is constructed, broadcasted, and negotiated through the Instagram account @yayasangayanusantara using Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA). As the oldest LGBTQ+ organization in Indonesia, this account plays a significant role in shaping public discourse regarding the existence of queer amidst a socio-political context characterized by strong stigma. Using a qualitative descriptive method with an interpretivist paradigm, which views data as ideological discursive texts. Data were obtained through document analysis of Instagram posts and interviews with Social Media Officer and followers, then analyzed using Fairclough's three-dimensional framework. The results show that the queer identity is constructed visibly, in the sense that it is displayed explicitly and representatively in the digital public space; legitimately, namely positioned as a morally, culturally, and humanitarianly legitimate identity; and inherently, namely understood as an inherent part of the subject and inseparable from Indonesian and religious identities. Through calm yet assertive language and inclusive visuals, @yayasangayanusantara constructs a counter-narrative that humanizes queer individuals and challenges dominant assumptions that position queer identity as deviant, immoral, or Western. This research also found that the practices of content production and consumption are dialogic. Strategically, the organization produces educational and affirmative messages, while on the consumption side, followers interpret the content in various ways. For closed and supportive followers, this account serves as a source of identity validation and community building; while followers with a neutral or contrasting position demonstrate resistive interpretations through hate speech. At the level of social practice, this account offers an alternative framework through meanings that reconcile queerness with humanist values. This research concludes that @yayasangayanusantara plays a discursive role by challenging the hegemonic discourse on queer in Indonesia and expanding the articulation space for marginalized identities in the digital realm through a dialectical interaction between text, discursive practices, and social practices.
