×ABSTRACK
The research aims to find out: (1) the relationship between the upbringing systems of parents with the learning achievement of the students, (2) the relationship between economic social status with the learning achievement of the students, (3) the relationship between the upbringing systems of parents and economic social status with the sociology learning achievement of the students. This research was done in the students of X class SMAN 1 Mojolaban.
This research belongs to a descriptive correlation method. The population of this research is the students of X class SMAN 1 Mojolaban, in the school year of 2009/2010 that amounting to 298 students. The research sampling takes 60 students by cluster proporsional random sampling technique. The technique of data collecting was done by questionnaire technique. In this research, the technique of data analysis is statistic analysis with the correlation analysis technique and technique of double regression.
From the results of analysis, the result of the data test yields that: (1) first hypothesis “there is significant relationship between the upbringing systems of parents with the learning achievement of the students of X class SMAN 1 Mojolaban, in the school year of 2009/2010” is received. It can be seen from the result of data analysis which shows rx1y = 0,397 and ρ = 0,002. (2) Second hypothesis “there is significant relationship between economic social status with the learning achievement of the students of X class SMAN 1 Mojolaban, in the school year of 2009/2010” is received. It can be seen from the result of data analysis which shows rx2y = 0,226 and ρ = 0,080. (3) Third hypothesis “there is significant relationship between the upbringing systems of parents and economic social status with the learning achievement of the students of X class SMAN 1 Mojolaban, in the school year of 2009/2010” is received. It can be seen from the result of data analysis which shows Ry(x1,2) = 0,425 and ρ = 0,002.
The parents have to really understand correctly about in importance to create a good relationship of upbringing with the children. The developments of children psychology has a relationship with the daily upbringing of the parents, such as how to educate, guide, give the good attitude examples, and protect them at home.
The parents should always try to support in the process of children learning by their attentions, and affections. They can also give the facilities of the study of their children maximally according to their economic social status. Because all kinds of learning processes need supporting facilities to get the maximum of children learning processes and can increase the learning achievement of the children, especially in the study of sociology field.
