× ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) Perbedaan pengaruh antara Metode Massed Practice dan Distributed Practice terhadap peningkatan keterampilan passing bola voli. (2) Perbedaan keterampilan passing bolavoli antara siswa yang memiliki koordinasi mata-tangan tinggi dan rendah. (3) Pengaruh interaksi antara metode latihan dan koordinasi mata-tangan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan passing bolavoli. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 2 Ponorogo selama 2 bulan . Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan faktorial 2 X 2. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa putra kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Ponorogo tahun pelajaran 2009/2010 yang berjumlah 60 siswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive random sampling, sampel yang diambil sebanyak 40 siswa, terdiri dari 20 siswa yang memiliki koordinasi mata-tangan tinggi dan 20 siswa yang memiliki koordinasi mata-tangan rendah. Variabel yang diteliti yaitu variabel bebas : variabel manipulatif dan variabel atributif, serta satu variabel terikat. Variabel manipulatif terdiri dari metode massed practice dan metode distributed practice. Variabel atributif terdiri dari kelompok sampel dengan koordinasi mata-tangan tinggi dan rendah. Variabel terikat yaitu keterampilan passing bolavoli . Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis varians ( ANAVA ) dua jalur dengan taraf signifikansi Kesimpulan: (1) Ada perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara metode massed practice dan distributed practice terhadap keterampilan passing bolavoli (Fhitung = 10,376 > F tabel = 4.11 ) . (2) Ada perbedaan hasil keterampilan passing bolavoli yang signifikan ( Fhitung = 45,708 > F tabel = 4.11 ) antara siswa yang memiliki koordinasi mata-tangan tinggi dan rendah, dimana siswa yang memiliki koordinasi mata-tangan tinggi lebih baik dari siswa yang memiliki koordinasi mata-tangan rendah. (3) Ada pengaruh interaksi yang signifikan antara metode latihan dan koordinasi mata-tangan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan passing bolavoli (Fhitung = 6,474 > F tabel = 4.11 ), dimana metode massed practice lebih cocok diterapkan pada siswa yang memiliki koordinasi mata-tangan tinggi sedangkan metode distributed practice lebih cocok diterapkan pada siswa yang memiliki koordinasi mata-tangan rendah. Kata Kunci : Metode Massed Practice, Metode Distributed Practice, Koordinasi Mata-tangan, Keterampilan Passing Bolavoli ABSTRACT The aims of this research are to find out : (1) The differences of effect between Massed Practice method and Distributed Practice method to improve passing skill of volleyball. (2) The differences passing skill of volleyball between the students who have high and low wrist coordination. (3) The effect of interaction between Practice Method and wrist coordination to improve passing skill of volley ball. This research was held at Junior high School 2 Ponorogo for two months. This research used experiment method 2 X 2 factorial design. The population of this research were 60 boys students of eight grade Junior High School 2 Ponorogo 2009/2010 school years. The sampling technique was Purposive Random Sampling, the samples taken as 40 students, consisted of 20 students who have high wrist coordination and 20 students who have low wrist coordination. The variables were independent variables consisted of two factors, there were manipulative variable and attributive variables and one bound variable. Manipulative variables consisted of Massed Practice method and Distributed Practice Method. Attributive variables consists of groups of samples with high and low wrist coordination. Bound Variables in this research is Passing Skill of volley ball. Technique of data analysis in this research were used varians analysis (ANAVA) two lanes with significant level = 0.05 Conclusion: (1) There is a significant of difference effect between massed practice method and distributed practice to passing skill of volleyball, ( Fobservasi = 10,376 > F tabel = 4.11) . (2) There is a significant difference of passing skill in volleyball ( Fobservasi = 45,708. > F tabel = 4.11) between the students who have high low wrist coordination skill, which the students who have high wrist coordinations skill was better than the students who have low wrist coordination skill. (3) There is a significant interaction effect between practice method and the wrist coordination to improve passing skill of volleyball ( Fobservasi = 6,474 > F tabel = 4.11), where the massed practice method more suitable to be applied to the students who have high wrist skill coordination while distributed practice method more suitable to be applied to the students who have low wrist skill coordination.
