ABSTRACT
The aims of the research are to know: (1) the difference of learning achievement between Guided Inquiry Method using virtual and real laboratory media, (2) the difference of learning achievement between student who have visual and kinesthetic learners, (3) the difference of learning achievement between student who have sequential and random learners, (4) the interaction between Guided Inquiry Method using virtual and real laboratory media and learning style to the learning achievement, (5) the interaction between Guided Inquiry Method using virtual and real laboratory media and mind style to the learning achievement, (6) the interaction between learning style and mind style to the learning achievement, (7) the interaction between Guided Inquiry Method using virtual and real laboratory media, learning style and mind style to the learning achievement. The method of the research used experiment with factorial design of 2x2x2. Populations of the research were all student in grade X SMA N 1 Kebumen Academic Year 2008/2009. The samples of the research were determined by cluster random sampling that consists of four classes and each class consists of 32 students. The technique which is used to collect the data is test, non-test (questioner) and performance-test. The research hypothesis is analyzed by ANOVA three factorial designs with different cell number. Then it is tested continually using Scheffe test. Result of the research has got that: (1) there is difference of learning achievement between guided inquiry method using virtual and real laboratory media (Fobs = 3.96 or P-value = 0.049. The learning with guided inquiry method using virtual-laboratory is more effective than real-laboratory (2) there are not difference of learning achievement between student who have visual and kinesthetic learners (Fobs = 1,89 or P-value = 0,171), (3) there are difference of learning achievement between student who have sequential and random learners (Fobs = 8,07 or P-value = 0,005). Student who have random-learners got learning achievement rate higher than sequential-learners, (4) there are not interaction between Guided Inquiry Method using virtual and real laboratory media and learning style to the learning achievement (Fobs = 0,06 atau P-value = 0,807), (5) there are not interaction between Guided Inquiry Method using virtual and real laboratory media and mind style to the learning achievement (Fobs = 0,14 atau P-value = 0,714), (6) there are interaction between learning style and mind style to the learning achievement (Fobs = 5,74 or P-value = 0,018), Student who have kinestetik-random learners got learning achievement rate 74,09 in class of virtual and 70,58 in class of real-laboratory, (7) there are not interaction between Guided Inquiry Method using virtual and real laboratory media, learning style and mind style to the learning achievement.
