×Abstrak
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui : 1. Adanya miskonsepsi siswa pada pembelajaran usaha dan energi, 2. Efektivitas Penggunaan pendekatan konflik kognitif untuk mengurangi miskonsepsi siswa dalam pembelajaran usaha dan energi.
Sejalan dengan tujuan tersebut, maka pada penelitian ini digunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA MAN I Madiun. Sample populasi penelitian ini kelas XI IPA 1 dan XI IPA 2. Sampel diambil dengan cara cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan tes diagnostik miskonsepsi berbentuk obyektif beralasan yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah remidiasi. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisa deskriptif tanpa statistik dengan jalan menganalisa per item soal untuk diambil kesimpulan.
Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh (1) persentase siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi pada pembelajaran usaha dan energi rata-rata kelas XI IPA1 79,13% dan kelas XI IPA 2 rata-rata76,68%. (2) Pendekatan konflik kognitif dapat mengurangi miskonsepsi siswa pada konsep usaha dan energi dengan tingkat pemahaman rata-rata sebesar kelas XI IPA1 73% dan kelas XI IPA 2 75,75%.
ABSTRACT
The objective of this research is to know: 1. The existence The students’ misconception in the work and energy concept, 2. The effectivity of cognitive conflict approach to the misconception remediation of the work and energy concept learning.
According to the objectives, this research used descriptive method. The population of this research was the eleventh grade students science mayor of MAN I Madiun. The sample of the research was grade XI 1 and XI 2, and was taken using cluster random sampling method. The technique used to collect the data was misconception diagnostic test in the form of objective test with it is reasioning before and after remediation. The data analysis that used descriptive analysis without statistic by analyzing each question items was to be taken the conclusion.
From the result of the research is known that (1) the percentage of the students that experience misconception in the work and energy concept in XI 1 79,13% and XI 2 76,68%. (2) The cognitive conflict approach can decrease the students’ misconception in the work and energy concept with the understanding level rate is about 73% in XI 1 and 75,75% in XI 2.
