Penggunaan obat anti inflarnasi non steroid (NSAID) dalam jangka waktu lama dapat tentu saja dapat merugikan pasien karena pada umumnya obat mempunyai efek samping, sehingga perlu dipikirkan suatu alternatif penatalaksanaan lain yang mampu memperlambat proses degeneratif pada OA lutut
Akupuntur adalah jenis pengobatan yang menggunakan teknik tusukan pada titik-titik tertentu di tubuh yang dinamakan Acupuncture Point. Dengan ditemukannya pengobatan alternatif akupuntur banyak pasien yang menderita penyakit OA lutut melakukan terapi akupuntur, akupuntur dapat merupakan solusi alternative dengan peminat paling tinggi yaitu berkisar 94% khususnya pasien OA Lutut di Belanda
Dari kedua metode tersebut ingin dibandingkan efektifitasnya terhadap penurunan nyeri pada penderita OA lutut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh antara metode akupuntur dan NSAID terhadap nyeri lutut pada wanita penderita Osteoartritis; mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh antara pasien yang memiliki status pekerjaan PNS dengan pasien yang memiliki status pekerjaan Ibu Rumah Tangga terhadap nyeri lutut pada wanita penderita Osteoartritis dan mengetahui interaksi pengaruh antara metode akupuntur, NSAID dan status pekerjaan terhadap nyeri lutut pada wanita penderita Osteoartritis di Poliklinik Nyeri Akupuntur RSO Prof.Dr.R.Soeharso Surakarta
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental dengan rancangan faktorial 2 x 2, dengan menggunakan teknis analisis ANOVA. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 60 sampel dengan 30 sampel sebagai eksperimen dan 30 sampel sebagai kontrol.
Hasil penelitian adalah ada perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara metode akupuntur dan NSAID terhadap nyeri lutut pada wanita penderita Osteoartritis di Poliklinik Nyeri dan Akupuntur RSO Prof.Dr.R.Soeharso Surakarta, hasil F hitung adalah 49,716 dengan p value 0,000; ada perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara pasien yang memiliki Rumah Tangga terhadap nyeri lutut pada wanita penderita Osteoartritis di Poliklinik Nyeri Akupuntur RSO Prof.Dr.R.Soeharso Surakarta, hasil Hasil Fhitung adalah 9,625 dengan p value 0,003’ ada interaksi pengaruh antara metode akupuntur, NSAID dan status pekerjaan terhadap nyeri lutut pada wanita penderita Osteoartritis di Poliklinik Nyeri Akupuntur RSO Prof.Dr.R.Soeharso Surakarta, hasil F hitung adalah 9,625 dan p value adalah 0,003 status pekerjaan PNS dengan pasien yang memiliki status pekerjaan Ibu.
ABSTRACT
The use of nonsteroid anti-inflammation drug in long term will be harmful for the patient because the drug generally has side effect, so that it should be thought another alternative treatment that is able to inhibit the degenerative process in the kneel OA.
Acupuncture is the type of treatment using puncture technique on certain points of body named Acupuncture Point. With the invention of acupuncture alternative treatment, many knee OA patients undergo the acupuncture therapy; acupuncture can be the alternative solution with the highest number of devotees, about 94%, particularly the knee OA patients in Netherlands.
From those two methods, the researcher wants to compare their effectiveness on the pain relieving in the knee OA patient. The objective of research is to find out the difference between acupuncture and NSAID methods on the osteoarthritis women; to find out the effect difference between the patient with Civil Servant occupation status and the one with housewife status on the knee pain in the osteoarthritis women and to find out the interaction between the acupuncture, NSAID methods and the occupation status on the knee pain in the osteoarthritis women in the Acupuncture Pain Policlinic of RSO Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso Surakarta.
This research was an experimental research with 2 x 2 factorial design, using the ANOVA analysis technique. The samples of research were 60 samples with 30 samples as the experiment and 30 samples as the control.
The result of research shows that there is significant effect difference between acupuncture and NSAID methods on the osteoarthritis women in the Acupuncture Pain Policlinic of RSO Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso Surakarta, the result of Fstatistic is 49.716 with pvalue¬ of 0.000; there is significant effect difference between the patient with Civil Servant occupation status and the one with housewife status on the knee pain in the osteoarthritis women in the Acupuncture Pain Policlinic of RSO Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso Surakarta, the result of Fstatistic is 9.625 with pvalue¬ of 0.003; and there is an interaction of effect between acupuncture, NSAID methods and the occupation status on the knee pain in the osteoarthritis women in the Acupuncture Pain Policlinic of RSO Prof. Dr. R.
