Pengaruh konsentrasi ekstrak ubi jalar dan emulsi ikan terhadap pertumbuhan PLB anggrek persilangan Phalaenopsis Pinlong Cinderella X Vanda Tricolor pada media Knudson C

× ABSTRAK Medium Knudson C tanpa penambahan senyawa lainnya tidak akan mampu memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap eksplan, sebab medium kultur tidak hanya mengandung unsur hara makro dan mikro, namun juga senyawa organik lainnya seperti karbohidrat sebagai sumber karbon dan senyawa lainnya. Salah satu alternatif senyawa organik ialah penambahan ubi jalar dan emulsi ikan dalam medium Knudson C. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan ekstrak ubi jalar dan minyak ikan terhadap pertumbuhan plb hasil persilangan anggrek ♀ Phalenopsis Pinlong Cinderella x ♂ Vanda tricolor dan kombinasi keduanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap yang disusun secara faktorial. Faktor pertama adalah konsentrasi ekstrak ubi jalar, yaitu 0 g/l, 150 g/l, dan 300 g/l. Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi emulsi ikan, yaitu 0 cc/l, 2 cc/l, dan 4 cc/l sehingga terdapat 9 kombinasi perlakuan masing-masing diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Data yang diperoleh pada semua variabel dilakukan analisis ragam berdasarkan uji F 5%, apabila terdapat pengaruh yang nyata pada perlakuan dilanjutkan DMRT 5% dan uji regresi. Data pada saat muncul akar dianalisis secara deskriptif. Variabel penelitian meliputi saat muncul akar, tinggi tanaman, panjang daun, lebar daun, jumlah daun, jumlah akar, dan panjang akar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan organik ubi jalar memberikan hasil yang paling optimal. Konsentrasi ubi jalar 150 g/l memberikan hasil optimal pada tinggi plantlet, panjang daun, lebar daun, dan panjang akar. Ubi jalar dengan konsentrasi 300 g/l memberikan hasil optimal terhadap saat muncul akar, jumlah daun, dan jumlah akar. Emulsi ikan 2 cc/l berpengaruh terhadap saat muncul akar dan 4 cc/l berpengaruh terhadap tinggi plantlet, jumlah daun, dan panjang akar. Interaksi ubi jalar 300 g/l dengan emulsi ikan 2 cc/l berpengaruh terhadap saat muncul akar, sedangkan ubi jalar 150 g/l dengan emulsi ikan 4 cc/l berpengaruh terhadap lebar daun ABSTRACT Knudson C medium will not give possitive effect well without organic addictive addition to the explant, because medium culture contain not only macronutrient and micronutrient suplements but also organic addictive such carbohydrate as carbon energy source and other suplements. Some organic addictive alternative are sweet potato and fish emulsion. The aim of this research were to investigate the influence of adding sweet potato’s extract, fish emulsion, and combination between sweet potato’s extract and fish emulsion on growth of Phalaenopsis Pinlong Cinderella x Vanda tricolor orchid. This research applied complete random design (CRD) with two factors. First factor was concentration of potato, consisted of 3 level of concentration: 0 g/l, 150 g/l, and 300 g/l. Second factor was concentration of fish emulsion, consisted of 3 level of concentration: 0 cc/l, 2 cc/l, and combination combination between sweet potato’s extract and fish emulsion, so there will be 9 combination of treatment and repeated 3 times. Data analyzed by variance analysis base on F test 5% and will be be contiued to DMRT 5% and regression tesr if there is significant data. It will be analized descriptively if tehere is no significant result. Variables consisted of time of shoot’s growth, height of explant, height of leaf, weight of leaf, number of leaf, number of shoots, and height of shoots. The result showed that the best organic additive was sweet potato extract. The 150 g/l sweet potato gave the best result on the height of explant, height of leaf, weight of leaf, and height of shoots. The 300 g/l sweet potato gave best result on time of shoot’s growth, number of leaf, and number of shoots. The 2 cc/l of fish emulsion gave the best result on time of shoot’s growth and 4 cc/l fish emulsion gave best result on height of explant, number of leaf, and height of shoots. Combination both of 300 g/l sweet potato and 2 cc/l fish emulsion influenced on time of shoot’s growth and 150 g/l sweet potato and 4 cc/l fish emulsion influenced on weight of leaf.
