Penelitian yang berjudul “Korelasi Antara Intensitas Komunikasi Keluarga Dengan Prestasi Belajar Anak “, bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara komunikasi keluarga dan prestasi belajar anak.
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Djama’atul Ichwan Surakarta. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah adakah pengaruh yang signifikan antara komunikasi keluarga dengan prestasi belajar anak. Adapun populasi penelitian ini adalah Siswa-siswi kelas V SD Djama’atul Ichwan Surakarta. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah Propotional Random Sampling, jumlah sampel yang dipakai adalah 32 Siswa-siswi kelas V SD Djama’atul Ichwan tahun ajaran 2009-2010.
Hipotesis yang diajukan penulis adalah ada korelasi yang positif dan signifikan antara komunikasi keluarga terhadap prestasi belajar anak. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah teknik metode analisis statistik. Dalam melakukan uji korelasi menggunakan rumus Correlations Product Moment.
Berdasarkan hasil uji validitas, semua instrument menghasilkan koefisien korelasi (R) lebih besar dari 0,576 dinyatakan valid. Dengan uji reliabilitas untuk variabel komunikasi keluarga (X) yang terdiri dari 18 pertanyaan mempunyai alpha cronbach > 0,576. dan variabel prestasi belajar anak yang terdiri dari 18 pertanyaan mempunyai alpha cronbach > 0,576. sehingga dari sejumlah pertanyaan kedua variabel dinyatakan reliabel.
Berdasarkan hasil dari hipotesis I, hipotesis kerja atau hipotesis alternatif (Ha), jika r hitung > r tabel dengan taraf signifikan (α) 0,05 maka ada hubungan / korelasi yang signifikan antara komunikasi keluarga dan prestasi belajar anak. Hasil hipotesis II, hipotesis nol (Ho), jika r hitung < r tabel dengan taraf signifikan (α) 0,05 maka tidak ada hubungan / korelasi yang signifikan antara komunikasi keluarga dan prestasi belajar anak
Saran yang diberikan kepada orang tua adalah diharapkan orang tua sesering mungkin selalu berkomunikasi dengan anak, serta keluarga selalu mendukung agar anak-anaknya termotivasi dalam belajar sehingga prestasi belajar anak dapat tercapai atau meningkat.
Saran untuk anak (siswa-siswi) adalah anak / siswa-siswi diharapkan untuk selalu berinteraksi dengan orang tua. Mengutarakan segala masalah yang dihadapi, tidak malu kalau ada kekurangan yang harus diutarakan. Semakin baik hubungan antara anak (siswa-siswi) dengan orang tua, maka semakin mudah untuk mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi anak dan dapat mencari jalan keluarnya, sehingga tercapai komunikasi yang aktif dan bersinergi.
ABSTRACT
The study, titled "The Influence of Family Communication Intensity Against Child Learning Achievement", aims to identify the significant influence of family communication and learning achievement of children.
This research was conducted in elementary Djama'atul Ichwan Surakarta. The problem in this study is there a significant effect between family communication and the learning achievement of children. The population of this research is the V-class Students Ichwan SD Djama'atul Surakarta. The sampling technique used was propotional random sampling, the number of samples used is 32 Class V Students Ichwan SD Djama'atul 2009-2010 school year.
Authors proposed the hypothesis that there is a positive and significant correlation between family communication to children's learning achievement. Data analysis tool used is the questionnaire test validity, test reliability questionnaire. In performing the correlation test using the formula Product Moment Correlations.
Based on the results validity test, all instruments produce the correlation coefficient (R) greater than 0.576 declared valid. With a reliability test for family communication variables (X) consisting of 18 questions have cronbach alpha> 0.576. children's learning and achievement variables consisted of 18 questions had a Cronbach alpha> 0.576. Hence, from a number of questions both variables otherwise reliable.
